Top Ten Tuesday: Favorite Bookish People

top ten tuesday new

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. Each week a new Top Ten list is assigned as a topic for others to fill out.

Good Afternoon lovelies!

So when I saw that this was today’s Top Ten Tuesday subject, I knew I had to join in! This has to be one of my favorite things to talk about: my favorite bookish people 🙂 I love recommending people who love books like I do! So I couldn’t just stick with 10. I chose 5 #booktubers, 5 #bookstagrammers and 6 #booktweeters (<–yup I just did that ). So, read on below and go follow all these awesome people!!

booktubers

XinaHailey – I really enjoy her account. She does a great mix of hauls, tags and reviews on her channel. Plus she just seems super sweet! I feel like she’s really relatable, especially when she mentions book series she hasn’t gotten to yet (and I’m over here like–me too!!).

Katie @ ChapterStackss – What a love about this account is Katie’s review approach. She’s honest and not afraid to say her thoughts on a book. I love her more in-depth reviews as well as her reading choices. She’s also recommended a lot of BookTubers that I now subscribe to 🙂

Samantha @ Thoughts on Tomes – What I love about Samantha’s channel is her multiple review videos–one spoiler free & one more like a discussion. I so appreciate this about her account because sometimes, if I’ve read the book already, I feel like I’m discussing the book with some rather than just hearing the non-spoiler content. She also does a good mix of content on her channel. While it’s primarily reviews, she throws in a few related topics content such as her “Types of Negative Reviews” video. She’s definitely a must watch!

Misty @ BookRatMisty – Misty’s account is another favorite of mine. She does a great mix of content on her channel. I really love her Graphic Novels Week! Her reviews, haul and tag videos are also a great watch! I’ve been watching her videos for a while now and really hope you guys check her out!

ThePoptimist – The BookTube channel is so great! I really enjoy his dry humor, in-depth reviews and reading choices. ThePoptimist reads & reviews a lot of (for me) unknown works which I really love because his channel exposes me to works I might never have known about. Plus he uses a lot of visuals in his review which I appreciate and ugh I just love his unique voice within the BookTube world.

Okay, so I strongly encourage you all to go check out these “BookTubers” because I absolutely love all their styles & voices within the book community 🙂

bookstagramers

I have to admit that this section was the hardest one to narrow down. I only picked five, but trust me when I say I could recommend a hundred! These are just some #bookstagramers I want to send shoutouts to and recommend this time around 🙂

Maria @ Booksugar – I love how minimalist Maria’s account it, yet all her photos really pop and so does the color she uses. It’s not only a beautiful feed to scroll through, but it’s also interesting. Her use of props is AMAZING and I’ve just decided I want to be her or you know continue to drool over her account 😉

Abi @ Abi.s_cupbard – Again, Abi’s account has more of a minimalist feel which I really love. Her photos really pop and her use of prop is FANTASTIC. I love the creativity she showcases with her photos. I could seriously spend all day scrolling through her feed and looking at her photographs 🙂

Cecilia @ Book.Rain.Tea – I’ve been following Cecilia’s account for some time now. Her photos are always ascetically beautiful. While her account doesn’t seem like a consistent “theme,” it really is. I love her use of colors and her mix of travel photos as well. Her account is just stunning 🙂

Alexandria @ TheBooksBuzz – What I love most about Alexandria’s account is her execution of her theme. I love the use of black & white with the pops of color. It really makes her account unique and interesting.

Xana @ XanaBooks – I really enjoy Xana’s account. Her use of multiple books in shots is so well done and I love the almost minimalist approach to her theme as well. Her photos always seem to stand out among my ever growing feed and I just love scrolling through all her photos. 🙂

As you might be able to tell I tend to lean towards more minimalist accounts. I do follow a few accounts that go all out with their props and Instagram photos. But right now I’m drawn to the simple, yet impactful #bookstagram feeds 🙂

booktweeters

Ok, so these accounts are definitely my go-to bookish peeps when I want to tweet books or just to talk. They’re all so lovely, so I highly suggest you go an follow them! 🙂

Annika @HidingBooks – This girl is a new Twitter acquaintance of mine, but I’m so happy I “met” her. She’s so sweet and I love chatting with her over Twitter. Go support her during this month’s #CampNaNoWriMo!! 🙂

Brittany @Bookaddictguide – To be honest, I don’t just follow Brittany on Twitter. I love her Instagram account and of course her blog as well! Her tweets can be so funny and she’s very active on all her accounts. If she’s not on your Twitter feed, she should be!

Cee @thenovelhermit – Cee is another new Twitter acquaintance I met through #LoveAThon. She’s been super supportive and interactive since I “met” her and I’m so glad we were able to connect over Twitter. I adore most of her tweets–a lot of them are funny & relatable. Plus, she gives out great book recs!  She’s definitely someone you want to follow!

Crystal @crys_leach – I seriously love Crystal’s tweets. I blame her for my recent obsession with #PowerPuffYourself. Crystal’s is always active on her twitter and I love reading her tweets and seeing what’s she’s retweeting. If you’re looking for another great bookish twitter account, then you have to follow hers!

Alexa @AlexaLovesBooks – Alexa’s account is another one that I’ve been following for a really long time. She’s so active on her twitter account is such as sweet person! I love reading all her tweets and retweets and seeing how much she interacts with the book community on Twitter. Of course, I’m also a follower of her blog and YouTube account as well. She’s definitely someone you want on your feed!
