Morning Loves,
As I’ve mentioned in a few posts, I’ve set blogging aside as I finish up my fall semester. I’ve been juggling school, work and an internship so something had to fall to the wayside. I’ve missed blogging so much! But grad school has definitely taken a lot out of me this semester so I needed to step aside from blogging. I hope you all understand!! Thank you to everyone else who still check ins 🙂
In more exciting news, the semester is almost over! Just one more week and then I’ll be back on blogging track 😉
Also read below for some of my December plans 🙂

November was a relatively slow Haul month for me. I’ve been tied up with school & my internship so I’ve mainly stuck to library books or book I already owned. I did pick up some books though. I sadly can’t remember some of them because I bought them and shipped them home the same day and my brain won’t work haha but these ones I definitely remember 🙂 (book covers linked to their GoodReads page – thanks to Reyna for the idea!)
November was pretty uneventful for me. It was all about grad school life. I had some pretty major assignments due each week and it only slowed down during Thanksgiving week, but I’ve only got today and next week left and then I’m finally done this semester! I’m so looking forward to the mental break! I have one week after that and then I’m back home and starting a new part time library job!!
So yeah that happened this month. I applied in the beginning of the month, had a Sykpe interview the following week and the week after that I was offered the job. I start the day after I move back home so I’m basically hitting the ground running with no stops in between my work life in Boston to my new work life back near Philly. Still, this position is a dream come true for someone without any paid library experience! I also still have the Spring semester left as well so part-time is great for me right now!
Anyway, some other adventures in November included a trip to the BPL’s Shakespeare Unauthorized exhibit which features some rare Shakespeare editions of his plays as well as First Folio!!! I geeked out 😉
Sadly, I didn’t attend any author signings or any other book events as I spent most nights either exhausted from my internship/work or working on school assignments. I did get some Netflix watching in & finished up Person of Interest & of course watched the Gilmore Girls. One of my friends posted this article reaction (*SPOILERS WARNING IF CLICK LINK*) to the show and I have to agree with a lot of it even though I really enjoyed the revival episodes. I still had some disappointments that I think this article brought up well.
I also have to mention that I survived a trip to Trader Joe’s the night before Thanksgiving. I’m very proud of that accomplishment haha – man so many people there that night!
That’s about it event wise. I lead a really dull life. Oh I did do some Black Friday shoppping online, supported Small Buisness Saturday (mainly because I work at an indie bookstore so…yeah haha), and also did some #TBTBSanta shopping! So that was all really fun 🙂
Soooo an announcemnt is being made! I’m going to be working in December to move this blog over to a self-hosted format as well as starting another blog to focus on some more personal/lifestyle like posts. This new blog will be title Just Add More and will feature posts on my life, on travel and making memories and maybe some fashion or DIY stuff. We shall see. I really just want to try and keep PopCrunchBoom Books as a books only blog with tibits of my life here and there so that’s why I’m creating a new blog.
With all of that said, I’m going to also be re-branding and working on my YouTube page to connect it with my Just Add More blog. BUT my YouTube page will still have book related videos on there too.
I am also planning on participating in Vlogmas this year. Well I’m strongly thinking of doing it. However, with my schedule and lack of an exciting life, I might try and upload it as a weekly vlog this year and then next year do it full on. So I’ll be posting some those videos here as well. Let me know if you’re doing Vlogmas too! so I don’t feel so alone and so I can follow along too 🙂
Also, I’m going to be doing a “Christmas Song” feature once a week up through Christmas. This feature will basically be a book list of books inspired by the song. Hopefully I can pull it off 😉
So there is my long-winded plan for December!
How was your November? I hope you had a good month! Let me know about it below! If you have any wrap-up posts, please leave them below! I love seeing what everyone else has done each month!
Happy Reading!
